Use of personification for a natural event
Once when I was a little girl
The sky determined he had enough
His massive face grew sullen and dark
And the wind grew very rough

Everyone sensed the sky’s rage
And ushered their children inside
They all quickly ran for cover
For no one wanted to be caught outside

That’s when he unleashed his fury
He poured down his tears of frustration
His eyes flashed menacingly
And he roared in a sign of aggression

Little children hid behind their mothers
Dogs cowered in fear
For the sky was now unstoppable
No one would dare to go near

Eventually, the sky’s tirade came to an end
His face gently softened
His tears came to a trickle then stopped
All his fury long forgotten
