GOD HOLDS THE KEY TO LIFE AND DEATH. TRUE SCENES FROM MY LIFE.
DEATH VISIT ME

Darkness came upon me,
As I slid to the floor I was no longer free,
Taken to an unknown territory
I couldn’t hear and my vision ‘blurry’.

He held my feet, for sure I knew
As they were heavy and my movements were few
Everything now came to a halt
I begin to think, was it my fault.

The darkness was as thick as the cloud,
As black as charcoal, its shade that ‘loud’.
I felt my body being elevated,
Then lowered to the ground,
My heart was captivated,
And in the flash of a moment would stop its pound.

This was its, as I laid motionless
Thinking I have been had by that pest.

But life came and rescued me,
He took my hand, lifted it, I could see.
It was the brightest light I had ever seen,
I could stare in its face and it was not mean.
He beckoned me to follow him,
That I did, and to him I cling.

The sunflowers, they were the largest,
And the grass I walked on was the greenest.
Death was no more, he was depleted,
As life stood up to him, he was defeated.

I felt so secured,
I became ‘homely’
But life told me, “they will be lonely”,
It wasn’t my time,
“Go back my child, this is only a sign.

My loved ones didn’t know I was kidnapped,
As everyone was still taking a nap.
The light was my savior,
Who rescued me,
Because he still had millions of people, I must see.

Death had a mandate
But life set me free,
He came for a date,
God didn’t release me.
