Dear Son
Dear Son I pray for you each night,
As you lay sleeping, I know its right
To you I wish all the best I can,
As you grow up to be a man.
That you will know what’s right from wrong,
That you will keep good in your heart, where it belongs.
Live every day by our Golden Rule,
And show respect, when you are in school.
I hope I live to see your joy,
When you become a father, to your own new boy!
