The start of how Josh met Jasper. The next stories are other realities of how he gets her.
In sixth grade, I was introduced to a girl named Jasper. She had brown and straight hair that flowed lusciously in the wind and her eyes were shining. She was cute, pretty, and nice. That's a majority of what I saw of her. We got along nicely, and we had funny talks. Not only was she pretty, but she was also smart. She was responsible with her homework and yet still knew how to have fun.
One day in the middle of the school year, We were seated at the same table, right across from each other. We weren't exactly best friends, but I was happy that we enjoyed each other. Things are a little blurry hear, but I remember what he did one time. One of us suddenly decided to pass notes to the other. As more notes were being passed, the processes of passing them grew stupider and stupider. It started from simply passing them to putting them in a book and saying, "Hey, Jasper! Look at page 68!" I don't even remember what even wrote on those damn cards, but I remember feeling happy with her. I felt weird after that. There was some sort of feeling that passed through me. Let's call that a crush.
I was at home just doing homework when that memory hit me again. I kept on thinking about Jasper: her humor, her personality, her voice, and everything else. As years passed into the ninth grade, this crush got dangerous. I extremely wanted to just hold her, dance with her,... kiss her. I made sure that I didn't mess anything up between us. I was never mean to her and was never too close too her. We don't talk as much as we did in sixth grade now, but we are still good friends. She talks with her friends, and I talk to mine. We continued on with our social lives, but I still couldn't stop thinking about how sweet and beautiful she was. What didn't know was that later, I was going to do something that would change things between us. I was worried about screwing up or losing her forever, but I was glad about one thing:
I wasn't in the friendzone.
