the Machine



two wheels , just two wheels
that carry me away
a motor, just a motor
that helps me run away
two blackened pipes, just two pipes
that drowned out the sounds
handle bars just handle bars
that give me some thing to hang on to
a head light just a head light
that lights my way
a machine just a machine.......
that has two wheels and a motor to help me run away from the past , two blackened roaring pipes that drown out the screams and the sound of lead on steel , and handle bars for me to hang onto when nothing is real.
and that head light, that freight train head light that lights my way through the darkness and into another day........
and she said it is just a machine......foolish woman.....
