Thoughts on faith.
AMEN! A man, an imam was there

Save me! She said.

Protect me with your prayer

Alah, Jesus, Buddha, Send everybody here!

Gimme all your answers

I don't wanna live in fear.

A sin! A sign, a single cell

Don't spill it on the ground!

He'll send us all to hell

Idle hands are nervous, they don't want to touch themselves

It isn't right, it isn't normal

They just want to be well

The Host, the toast, the holy ghost!

We're buying what you're selling

There's sin to diagnose

Put on your shiny hat and robes! Go man your post!

It doesn't matter if you mean it

Just tell us who to love the most

The Whore, the spore, the gory war!

The storefronts are the battlefields

And the courthouses facades

Pledge allegiance to the book, then to the oath you swore!

Ignore the nasty bits

That's what the truth is for

Revere what's here, or singe and sear!

It's a presence all around you

A vacuum is your fault

Where are all the answers?! What did you grow up near?

Don't fret for which is best

The mind can't see what clear

Start with your heart, faith is an art

To overthink is to confuse

Decide by what feels right

Circumvent the smallest doubt, that's the important part

Life is hard and painful

But have faith, this one is short.
