A Touch of Love

When is your love at its utmost brightest,
When hugs and kisses are at their tightest?
When you feel so alive and so self-assured?
Is that when our lives of loneliness are cured?

That most inspirational and sought-after love
Is not just mountains of strength from above,
But caring and decency and much adoration,
Together with warmth, for quite a duration.

If we never seem to be like a record broken,
Love will be eternal, and not a gaming token -
For we must love ourselves like we do each other,
