Music sooths the savage beast
But can it weave into our least
Susceptible of minds, taking claim
Fixing hold and making us the same.

Wielding power in a line
Curved with casual sublime
Mixing with our varied emotions
Carrying us beyond our own devotions

Wrapping us and binding back
Our tongue holds still becoming slack
Trailing us to follow blind
To give us no more our own mind.

To shake this subtle kind of menace
We must take care and show finesse
In baring up and being wise
We mark our souls against demise.
