Some things were just meant to be.
New Love
His wet, brown hair
clung to a face of pink.
I heard his first cry of “Hello,”
and could never imagine a love so
deep come rushing out of my heart.
This bond will be endless,
with my new son.


This is an ANNA form that uses 7 lines.Syllable count is 4, 6, 8, 10, 8, 6, and 4. Iambic meter but I strayed from this a little. The theme is love.
