The villain in this story is introduced. He is evil in it's truest form.
[Introduction]
Thousands of miles below Gabriel, a giant beast struggled to be free. With half his body trapped in ice, Satan had been struggling to be free for thousands of years. His six wings flapped in unison in a failed attempt to free himself. This only made his predicament far worse. It produced a cold wind which hardened the ice. Worst of all, Satan’s chew toys were starting to lose their flavor. He had been chewing on Brutus, Cassius, and Judas since they had died. They were succulent at first. Their blood was quenching, their meat was succulent. They all just lost their flavor.
The Devil tried to concentrate. There must be a more efficient way to get out. Then, it came to him. Why not just break the ice? He was most certainly strong enough. He moved his hand away from Judas’s back. He was supposed to be scratching his back with his sharp claws for the rest of eternity, but what would they do if he wasn’t? Kill him? Ha! Now with both of his hands, he smashed at the ice. At first, nothing happened. Then, the ice cracked. The Devil focused his pounding on the crack he made. It became wider and wider. When the crack widened enough, he dug his fingers into the crack, then pulled upward. The decent chunk of ice came up, and he chucked it aside. The piece he moved wasn’t huge, but it was large enough for him to move himself forward. Moving felt fantastic. He had not moved since he arrived in Hell. He dropped Judas, Brutus, and Cassius from his mouths. He looked down at them for a moment. They stayed down on the ice, writhing in pain. Satan let out a low whistle, and a flock of demons came toward him.
The demons were the ugliest things he had ever seen. Of course, he was to blame for this. These demons were angels that were cast down from Heaven with him. He wanted no reminder of the Holy Land, and he wanted them to have no reminder of their pathetic old lives. So, he took away their beauty, and made them into monsters. They had a variety of horns, a pointed tail, and featherless wings. Their skin was red.
“Pull me out,” the Devil commanded, his voice booming across the icy cavern. The demons did not hesitate. They got under his arms, and flew upward. Though significantly smaller than their master, the demons had great strength. The flock of demons was able to pull him out. They put him on the ice. Once he was on the ice, he stood for once in an eternity. He moved around to get his muscles going. Satan realized to efficiently move around Hell, he could not stay in his true form. It was far too big. It would be even harder to navigate around Earth in this form. Satan shape-shifted into a smaller, human like form. He still had his horns. They stuck out of his curly black hair. His demon wings and tail retracted back into his back. Satan’s red eyes were a true reminder of who he was. As for clothing, he had on kingly robes. They were blood red and black, with fiery designs on them. He had on old fashioned sandals for shoes. He turned to one of the demons closest to him.
“Get me Darius, and round up everyone here, including the tortured souls. We can finally proceed with out plans.”
