Twitters and Followers
[Introduction]
I recently joined Twitter; the social media everyone is talking about. Unlike Facebook, which I really don't have a clue about, Twitter is totally different. There are no set rules or regulations, The basis of Twitter is to jump right in. Sink or swim, so to speak. For the most part, I like it. It's fun learning new things and exploring new territorities whether is social media, a new City, driving a new car, etc., you know what I mean. Well, anyway, my biggest complaint is "Followers". Twitter lets you input whatever is on your mind 24 hours a day, anytime, anyplace. Almost like taking an online college class. There is tweet, retweet, reply and favorites. There are top tweets, which for the life of me I can't explain. It seems that the people that lives in Twitterland have a special math model, that according to Twitterville, will generate a tweet of TOP TWEET, if your tweet is mentioned favorited, or all around being interactive with other tweeters. The problem with that is there's no way of actually knowing why your particular tweet is being "TOP". I've only been a member of Twitterville for about a month, and yet to have any followers. My hope is that eventually, someone, somewhere will like what I am saying and will start to follow. Twitter is socializing. The difference is you're writing (140 words or less) to 200 million people around the world, so the competition is pretty tough. I will contine to journey on, and one day I will have followers. Thanks for listening and have a good night. Debbie
