the truth about fairy tales
Forget Cinderella

And all happy endings

Fairytales are lies

Created to make us hope

Hope for things we can’t have

Ideas put in our heads

That our dreams can come true

Where is my happy ending?

Am I not good enough?

Is it too much to ask for?

Here’s the real story

Of what happened Cinderella

Her step mom killed her

She beat her to death

When Cinderella stood up to her

And told her she snuck out

There’s the true ending, welcome to reality.

The wicked witch killed Dorothy

When the house landed on her sister

Then all the little munchkins

Of munchkin land

Feasted on Dororthy’s body

And let her blood flood

The cracks of the yellow brick road

Forget Cinderella

And all happy endings

Fairytales are lies

Created to make us hope

Hope for things we can’t have

Ideas put in our heads

That our dreams can come true

Where is my happy ending?

Am I not good enough?

Is it too much to ask for?

Poor Snow White

All alone in the woods

With the seven little dwarfs

Just far enough away

So that people could not hear the screams

Of the seven horny dwarfs

Raping the little princess

Sleeping Beauty

Never woke up

When she pricked her finger

She sealed her fate

Even the prince’s kiss

Could not wake her

So now her beauty fades away

As she lays, all alone in her grave.

Forget Cinderella

And all happy endings

Fairytales are lies

Created to make us hope

Hope for things we can’t have

Ideas put in our heads

That our dreams can come true

Where is my happy ending?

Am I not good enough?

Is it too much to ask for?
