CASCADE

Like water over Niagara Falls,
words cascade down the page
into a healing pool of reflection.

Passion flows with a force that breaks down walls
in his mind, freeing ink from its cage,
like water over Niagara Falls.

The poet struggles for perfection,
pouring blood, sweat and tears to make
words cascade down the page.

That river of words will not stop,
until sensations are captured and drained
into a healing pool of reflection.
