Bright

And then I said to myself
That the next time I write
It would be of strength
And that glimmer of light.

Of not seeking answers
From the world around,
Of not needing to reaffirm
What I believe holds ground.

Of striving to seek the truth
From somewhere deep within
To quest for that elusive road
For the journey to begin.

For, to write is to create that world
That you wish to belong to
To write is to craft that vision
That you know would beseech you.
