A Worshiper of Light

In the center of the light,
a white-hot flame appears
scatters the cavern's somber night,
and calms the supplicant's fears.

Rising from the heart of light,
the flame acquires human form,
luminous image in white,
it is feminine, wise, and warm.

Before the altar of light,
In a reverent attitude,
Kneels a red caped acolyte,
Intoning her gratitude.
