Insecurity’s Love Song

He closes his eyes and lets go,
Everything he held on his lips is gone
Anything coming back from this moment
Is released in the way I hold him
But I might break him like I broke myself
As gently as my hands can move
I make sure he doesn’t fall
But he falls at my feet again

And my heart rushes towards insecurity,

But he unfolds them as perfect moments

Recapturing everything that was said

Anything I held close on reality is lost
Something makes me shiver inside
And the everlasting kiss captures me
But I might freeze it like I froze myself
As warm as my embrace can be
I make sure the warmth stays here
But his warmth is even a better embrace
