Take a look inside
From underneath the shadowy veil of self doubt
and loathsome feelings of untamed loneliness
the child steps forth arms outstretched,
his sleeves soaked in crimson hue.

And a heartbeat is heard..

'Oh to this struggle, this strife, this unwanted
honor given to me by fathers' long and absent.
I beg, please take it away.'

Far from such battered discarded truths sold and lived
too long... Why must I witness this ruddy useless portrait my life hath painted?
Confined and construed with silhouettes of meaningless mannerisms
painted upon decomposing canvas- one's far too tattered and greedy
for true colors to stain in beauty no longer.

Alas, still the mockery sounds..

Above tear-stained satchels his eyes trace his silent pleas, darting
to and fro, to all, away and near.

"A mere measure of temperance for a single grain of sympathy!
Nay, some inconsequentially measured lick of breeze!
to battle hazes long stagnant, forever stifling my sighs...."

From calloused lips both parting and brittle
he speaks dust for meaning and ash for word

Nay. All that is heard again,.

"Cursed be this soul of mine!! Writhing within thoughts
rampant of vile imagery and phonically bathed in spite!"

He craves solace. More labored peaces, for courses to imbibe!
Unable to sustain neither. No... not anymore.

Again the response the same..

Pulsing and beating his heart so weary
if only they knew his pain and sin!
From Saviors and kings he begs again in vain
no longer wishing to be this waif's solemn being.

No more to feel, no more to hear..
