This is about the preconceived notions that educators and students deal with every day.
The sunny days
The warm waters
My roommate says, that’s so Miami

We get three seasons of heat
But just one week of cold.

We got sweaters and pants
But we only wear t-shirts and croc flip-flops

Chilling at the beach
Is a bikini babe
She drinks and dances
Hurray!

We got parties and gals
And colleges too!
But that’s so not Miami

I am a Miami man
A proud one to boot

I rarely ever wear a bathing suit
But when I take out my… business suit
My girlfriend asks, “You’re from Miami?
