Time and time again
One foul creature had been traded for another
First a Dragon
Then the Jackals
And now a Serpent
Slithering and sneaking
Up upon one from behind
As it wraps and coils it's self
Around the unsuspecting
Squeezing and squeezing
Out the very life-giving breath
We are all to need so much
Attempting to swallow you completely
And without mercy
For this is the Serpent's way
To strike again and again
Injecting its poison
To stun, confuse and deplete one's will
Therefore, it may feed on our very essence
But if you and I
We the Children
Can stand against
That which be wicked and its evil
Those who are to call themselves men
Then never to be swallowed will we
By their darkness
Ever again
