Death, A city underwater, Souls released~
Lo! Death droned thro' the town,
As the incubus waves continually increas'd-
All of the people slowly began to drown,
And the pernicious winds, no longer ceased—
The frail bodies, plunged under atrocious waves-
Whilst the water hastily began to arise-
The poor unfortunate souls, unable to be saved,
Nor able to hear their shrieks or cries—
The murky water, a deep crimson;
From all of the horrid bloodshed-
Hundreds of people, missing,
Lain on the ocean floor, dead—

Alas, the stench of acrid flesh roamed about
Up above the waves, into the pure clouds-
Rays from the Heavens, began gliding down;
And cadavers piled underwater, in a crowd—
Once a fair, and stately land,
Now an inhumed cemetery under water-
Murdered by nature's beguiling hand,
Nature, being a necromancer's slaughter—
The aphotic water, a gaping grave;
Yet the seraphs begin to beckon-
Along came the final wave,
Whilst the souls arose to Heaven—
Gossamer rays, shone from above,
Whilst the evanescent souls are alas released-
And the pure, white majestic doves,
Finally, hath been set free—
