The Window

                        Looked out the window

                            it is quite bright.

                        Must be because

                            the sky is so white.

                        Pushed up the window

                            to feel the cold breeze.

                        In whipped a gust

                            of bitter coldness.

                        I take a deep breath

                              hold it inside.

                        Then let it out

                              like a burst of pride.

                        The white sky then opened

                              Down fell the snow.

                          I closed up the window

                                and said oh no!

                          Watching everything turn

                                glistening white.

                            So much more magical

                                then any other night.
