My funny idea of love
Love. It's one word that man has yet to know its true intent. I have found my interpretation to be just how I know it should be, simple. Love I have found has been going into a curiosity for another being, you can love something/one in anyway, you can love your family or your friends or even our couch for gosh sakes. Love is also in the form of being in love. To me, being in love is being able to cuddle with your best friend, be comfortable in usually awkward situations with those you are not in love with, you can deny yourself that person your whole and not know it at all. Me, I believe I found that person, and many people do with each new person they find in someway attractive, whether the attraction is once again curiosity, physical attraction, or an unknown secret the person's subconscious is aware of, but not their conscious. Love is crazy and has become more and more crazy with the generations passing through life, divorce is cascading to a height I thought I would never live to see, my friends are confusing me by changing relationships so quickly (well then again, I am frankly the same in relationships) and people are throwing themselves in blind most often with an all over stranger they happened to come across. Love is loosing its genuinity as years, even months fly by us. Did you know that Romeo and Juliet were only thirteen? They committed suicide for one another about a week after some would call "love at first sight". I don't find that a very good love story, though written by a play writing genius, not what I would call a convincingly good story. I was more to the liking of a story u heard when I was a child and hearing my friend tell of his great grand parents love story his mother told him, he told me that his grand parents were friends since they were two and going to preschool together, years went by and his great grandpa Carl had kissed Joanna, his great grandmother, in eighth grade. After a while of transitioning into being a couple until senior prom when they were shockingly announced prom king and queen did they grow apart. At that point, Carl had done a few things that put him in jail for several years, and when he was out, Joanna wasn't there for him, her father married her to another man. Then came the time when their 20 year reunion came around, and they looked at one another with sadness as they remembered the reason they no longer saw one another. But when everyone else was out on the dance floor, they snuck away and left together, only to run away and start a new life (at that point also, Joanna had divorced two of her husbands and was single for the taking). They were gone to Spain to start their life anew, but Joanna's father had found them and Carl took a blow to the head when her father grew angry and got into a fight to protect her. After going to a hospital, Joanna found out that he was in a coma (and would be for about ten months). For she now had control of her strength, she was disowned by her father for what she did and stayed by Carl's side for those ten moths of sleep. When he woke, to her surprise, he remembered everything to detail. This shocked her because she had often had his family send momentos that would help him remember his life (the doctors had said he was most likely to have amnesia when he awoke). All she new is that they had survived the impossible together, their love held them together with rope of pure, unbreakable force. {[Note that this was exactly and to the word what my friend Andrew Cerecicato had told to me several times over the years to help me get to sleep over the years that he has been mine]}
Explaining further, Andrew is and has been my boyfriend and lover since we were thirteen, we are now exactly twenty three and funny as it sounds, born on the same day (September 13,1990) call me crazy, but many have, so I'm used to it. I don't care how people judge me and Andrew, we have know each other 17 out of our 23 years and ten out of those seventeen, we have been in love with one another and still are... The both of us are total opposites and we fight all the time, but no matter what, we always go to sleep together and we have never been separated. What do you think? A ten year relationship without a on and off consistency sound about right for true love at such a young age?
