a poem about bullying that I wrote for poem in you pocket day in 11th grade
S SICK I’m sick of how you treat me
Sick of how you treat them
Sick of how you treat us
Sick of the pain
Sick of the names
Sick of the tears
SICK OF IT ALL

T THANK Thank before you say those terrible things you say to that kid
You never know you could be the one to send him over the edge
And then you think if only I knew
I bet you would of never said the things you did

O OPEN Open your mind and heart to me
I am in need of a friend
Don’t shut me out and call me names
Because we are equal
One and all the same
So please don’t condemn me
Because I’m not like you
I promise I will love you
If you promise to love me too

P PHONY I knew you weren’t my friend
All the nasty rumors you spread
The scars you made from the knife in my back
Are now the scars on my wrist and the blood on the floor

So next time you go to call someone a name
Remember what I said and
