I, Me, Myself

I, Me, Myself...

At a glance it may seem like a dialogue of a Bollywood film, Ready.
Where the protagonist Mr. Salman Khan says that " Never underestimate
three things in life..I, Me and Myself.

On the contrary it may be a simple and humorous dialogue but it has
got deeper meanings and modern day philosophy of life hidden in it.
Today we feel that 'I' am the owner of my destiny and I can
do whatever I like. All the resources of the world belongs to 'Me' and I
'Myself' can achieve all the success in my life.
Now these three words are the root cause of all the troubles in the world.
These are not just words but a self centered way of living of our modern day
culture given to us as a gift by the materialistic approach towards life.

In olden days we had the tradition of combined family. People used to live
together and feel for each other. Father's words were like commands to there
children and they happily accepted it without any malice. Yes there were some
fights and jealousy in the family but that all used to end with more love and
affection. And today even parents have became burden for there children, better
not to talk about their relatives. No one wants to live in boundaries. Everyone
wants to be free, free from every relations and free from all the responsibilities.
The morals and values of our life has dropped to such an insane level that we are
loosing faith in every relation. Our faith in marriage institution is also
loosing it's ground. That is why we have started liking the "live-in" relationship.
The "Test it-try it" mentality has given birth to such a crap in the society.
Today center of gravity for us has become the materialistic approach towards life
and in that process we tend to loose all the love, affection, care, respect and
that special bond which units a family and dear ones. We only think about ourselves.
We do not have the guts to ask questions to ourselves. Actually we do not want to
do so. Why anyone would like to introspect himself, when he is doing good in his
life. Yes definitely he would not do so.

But there is a certain time in life when the person inside us asks question
am I happy? have I done justice to my relatives and relations? Is my life worthy
enough.
The answer to these questions are not very difficult. The only thing needed
is an honest effort and if we can go through our holy books, we can find the answers
easily. For example; Veda and Purana(The Hindu Holy Books)

According to the Veda and Purana(holy books) "I" gives birth to arrogance.
Arrogance is the mother of Selfishness. When a person becomes selfish his
focus shifts to "Me" and "Myself".

Now if we can think little broadly than we can say that this 'I' is not just
a word but a feeling; a feeling of being great, a feeling that makes us feel
that I am the best. This is the feeling that makes our nature arrogant and
ignorant. This arrogant and ignorant entity of our nature shifts our focus
of life to 'Me' and it's moral values to the core of selfishness 'Myself'.

So we can see that the core of every problems in our life is the feeling
of 'I', 'Me and Myself' are mere its siblings.

This is how my title gets justified..I, Me, Myself.

But beyond this title there is another set of three words that have the
the greatest feelings of togetherness, love, care, happiness and most of
all unity,that is;

"We Us and Ours"
