"Who is the culprit? The person right infront of you, say my name!" (Len's POV)
Fear and terror mixed into your soft blue eyes. I reached out and tried to grab you, using the hand I know I shouldn't have. I hoisted you up and let the rest of the targets drown. You looked at me questioningly and accusingly, and turned away.

         "Piano..."

I had my orders, you had yours, that were not to be questioned. You will solve me, but in return will surely perish.

"The atrocious culprit..." you started, "Is not you." You looked so hurt.

There were two wine glasses, though you shall never solve this riddle. Handling a knife, you looked at me, eyes glittering wet with tears. You lundged at me, only to have me smak the knife out of your hand and grab your wrist, pulling you closer.
"The true culprit," I whipsered in your ear, deviously smiling,"Is right infront of you." I pushed you back and held out both of my arms, revealing the one that was thought by many to have been missing, tossing my coat aside.

I laughed. And laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed. "So, who is the culprit?" I chuckled, watching the fear burn in your eyes, "Come, say the name of the person infront of you, say my name!" I gestured to myself, still laughing like a mad man.

I sat at the piano, my nimble fingers touching the keys softly. The tune was indeed slpendid, for it made you smile.

"I hope we can always have time to play the piano together, I enjoy this time off," you proclaimed, silently slipping a knife back into your pocket, hoping the other hadn't noticed. I did.

"Yes, I rather enjoy the smile I put on your face when I play." I smiled.

Your laughter was so innoccent, I forgot you had pocketed the knife.

You looked up at me, bitter tears dripping from your eyes and .
You sucked in a breath of air, "The culprit is not you!" You shouted confident. Which made me smile. "I will solve you and your riddle!" You pushed yourself up without haste, and pulled the knife from your flowing dress's pocket, and rushed toward me with it. As before, I knocked the blade from your grip, and held onto both your hands, which were trembling.

"He played the role of the detective well, didn't he?"

"You were the detective all along, weren't you..."

I felt, for once, a pang of forgiveness and regret.
I'm so sorry, it hurts me, but I must do this....
I took up the knife and held my tears, which proved unsuccessful- for they flowed softly down my cheeks. I lifted the blade in my hand, took in a deep breath, and you closed your eyes, one of which a tear slipped from. I brought the knife down onto my chest, through my heart. You looked up slowly as I coughed and suprised, you pulled the knife from my chest.

"N-no, you weren't supposed to- this wasn't- I didn't mean for this-" I put my hand over your soft lips and patted you on the head as I used to when you played a tune after me.
"Shhh, It was supposed to be this way..." I said, taking in a breath and closing my eyes peacefully, tears still streaming. You held me close and wept, and I whispered into your ear. "To the ocean... On the boat. Please, for my sake..." Understanding the request you nodded and buryed your face into my shoulder, my blood staining your dress.

"Please don't go..." You whispered with heart-ache, which made me think of the times we had together.

"Pardon me, I m-must...." And with that, it all went black.

AN: Yay, first completed story! ^w^ The one describing the Riddler's current life didn't count, that was more of something to help me get used to the site layout.
Well this story is based from the songs The Riddle Solver Who Can't Solve Riddles and The Riddle Solver Who Won't Solve Riddles sung by Rin and Len Kagamine. I improved the end, although that's not what I think happens, and I'm sure it's not what really happens...

Sorry if I don't post as often as alot of you, I'm on this site for writing club and we only meet once a month, and I forget to check the site ALOT. I'm often on FanFiction.net, though. If you want to read some of my stories (when they're posted, I'm procrastinating XD) PM me and I'll give you my user. Ta ta for now~!
