Revolutionary Carnivores, We call ourselves Gods of war, But we won't be Gods anymore, When we get what we're asking for. Tear down the Wailing Wall. Only until they kill us all. The long awaited fall Of a lost empire That was once admired Collapsed by simple gunfire. A silent nation led by liars. A community filled with the lost and the tired. They thought they were doing what was right. Led into war and prepared to fight. Blinded by the colors of old Uncle Sam, A proud and deceitful excuse for a man Who would fight any country, foe or friend. Too bad all evil things must come to an end. You can almost hear the sound of the liberty bell, Trying to lead us out of this hell. A sad shell of the country that we used to be, A truth that others among us refuse to believe. Killing the innocent in the name of "peace" What reason will be given once it is reached? Ending the lives of innocent men, Because they're different, we call it sin. Can't everyone be like the one great nation? Why wouldn't they want their own liberation? So let’s kill them, maim them, rip them apart, And say that we're hitting terrorism at the heart. But it's time that we finally learned the distinction, Between Godly love, and outright extinction. How much does freedom really mean, As we listen to the children scream? Walk down the street and hear "Pop, Pop!" Down one, down two, like flies they drop. Can't you hear the people calling, For help as the bodies continue falling, And on the ground a young man's crawling, Begging for mercy as he lies bawling. Who would have ever thought, A society could be so lost, To so selfish a cost, Despite the people who fought, So hard to bring, The freedom that would so loudly ring, In the ears of the open, Mending the hearts and the minds of the broken, With promises so softly spoken. Until all at once we are awoken To chaos and tears, That will last throughout years. Forever etched in our minds. Written on the ever changing book of time, As...
