I was sitting in my cold lonely apartment in Denmark. I was feeling like the weather and the weather was not helping at all. I stared off into space as I remembered about why and how I ended up here miles and hours away from my cozy small town. No leave me alone you made your decision. Apparently I’m not good enough for you, go run back to that fake blonde girl. “No Molly it was a mistake please forgive me I love you, not her I’m sorry please forgive me,” Derrick said while crying. I snap back into life once I heard the doorbell. I ran to get it expecting it was the person I wanted to see the most right now. I opened the door and there he was my best friend Terrence.
That sum times “annoys” me because it was too cute.
“Hey handsome what brings you here in this “beautiful evening, ’” I said while rolling my eyes.
“ Well cant a friend hang out whit his best friend oh and are you going to let me freeze out here in the rain or are you going to let me go in,” he said while laughing.
Terrence the green eyed guy walked in and immediately and went into the kitchen , I just stayed back and went to sit down in the couch and turn on the TV.
“Yes Terence just go into my kitchen and take my food,” I said sarcastically.
“So what do you want to do today” I said while thinking about ideas.
“I was thinking of just hanging out you know like watch movies eat, play oh and did I say eat” he said whit a smile on his face.
“Yeah let’s do that!” I responded enthusiastically.
We just spend the rest of the day at my house watching movies eating dancing practically just acting crazy. It was already late at night when we finally got tired.
“OMG where do you get all this energy from, molly” he asked amused of how hyper I am.
“You might think I’m not tired but I’m exhausted but I just want to have fun so I hide it” I said while laughing
“Okay since you are tired what do want to do now” Terrence asked me
“Let’s go to Starbucks!” I said more excited than ever because I love Starbucks.
“Let’s go then” he said while heading for the car
Although Molly and Terrence were having a good time at Starbucks, their mood changed because the person she least likes walked in.
I and Terrence were having fun like always. I was watching him as he stood up and went to get our frap chinos. Wow he is really handsome fit nice since of humor what every girl will want I thought to myself but I was distracted by a little voice in the back of my head “what are you saying he is your best friend you can’t like him!” I came back to earth once I saw Terrence come back. I was smiling until the front door opened and in came the person I thought I will never see again.
“What’s wrong molly u seem like you have seen a ghost” asked Terrence in a concern voice
I couldn’t believe my eyes I tried blinking in case it was just my mind fuelling me. But I realize it was really him once he was standing right beside me staring at me whit a big smile in his face.
“Molly?’ derrick asked with a smile in his voice
I heard him ask something, but I couldn’t make out what he asked because I was lost in a flashback of the last time I saw him. Bye derrick give up you made your decision let me go, I felt a warm hand grip on my shirt so I had to stop walking. No Molly I love you, you can’t go at least tell me where you are going he said in a voice that is on the edge of tears. I snapped back into life once I heard Terrence talk.
“Yes her name is Molly but how do you know her?” Terrence asked in a confused voice
“Me and her were really good friends but she moved and I lost contact whit her” Derrick said whit ought to looking away from Molly.
He doesn’t stop staring did I look ugly did I have something in my face? All this questions where rushing threw my head. Stop molly why do you care what he thinks about you remember what he did to you remember. I told myself.
“Hi derrick long times no see,” Molly said in a quiet but kind voice.
What the heck is wrong whit me why am I talking to him all nice and sweet after all he has done to me.
“Hi molly how have you been I’ve been looking for you for a long time” derrick said in a happy voice.
I caught myself smiling back at him lost in my own world of thinking of maybe he changed but still am confused. I remember Terrence was there once I heard him ask derrick something.
“Are you Derrick the stupid guy from Texas?” Terrance asked in an angry voice
“Yes that’s me can I seat down,” he asked with hope in his voice
I couldn’t resist I had to say yes so I did and we talked about what has happened for this two years. Terrance looked pretty annoyed but he was nice just because I was being nice to him. We taking normally like nothing happened until he asked me the question I feared the most. As I heard it my palms sweated like crazy my head was working twice as hard to find the right answer.
“Well molly I’ve been wanting to asked you this but can you forgive me I’m very sorry for what I have done to you and I steel like you but you don’t have to give me another chance just forgive me please.” He asked a little shyly with a blush going into his cheeks once he confessed he steel liked molly.
My mined rushed every were thinking of the correct answer because even though he hurt me a lot I steel like him yeah I know I kind of started liking Terrence but as soon as I saw him walk in I only saw derrick in my life only him no one else but I scared I might get hurt again but finally I said yes. Once the word left my mouth a big smiled aspired into his face.
“Well since you said yes will you want to go to a party whit me Terrence you can come to?” derrick said facing us whit a big smile that reach form his right ear to his left ear.
Of Corse we will I heard Terrence answer I smiled to myself knowing that now Terrence liked derrick but the next thing he said caught me off guard. “Yeah we should go so I can finally present you my girlfriend” what I shouted at him in shock yeah I have I girlfriend her name is Jennifer. Oh well I guess he never liked me but at least I settled my feelings down that I like derrick not Terrence so it didn’t bother me.
Days passed and all three of us hang out. A week later after the time we first saw derrick we went to the party. No derrick didn’t ask me out at the party but he did ask me out a week later and I said yes because I realize I loved him. Terrence and his girl hanged out with us allot so we got to know each other allot. I liked Jennifer she was nice and really pretty. I know what you must be thinking why did you forgive him after he cheated on you well yeah he did but you can’t control your heart things don’t always go the way you expect them to go.
