I short poem about loosing faith. It's not about me I swear :)
My intentions were never to be understood
A walk in my shoes? No one could
I don't need the pity of an unknown face
Or the words of wisdom from an unknown grace
I don't need your help
I don't want to be saved
The way I am is the way I'll stay
You say that one day I'll regret these mistakes
and to confess now before it's too late

A preacher takes me by the hand
Swearing he'll guide me to the promised land
All the land I've known has been trailed with tears
I've lost hope over the years
This God you know has left me behind
He ignored all my screeching crys
I stopped praying to him and started depending on me
How I am is how I'll always be
