Written right after my son's death

The day I found you will forever be etched in my mind
Forever now my life and my heart will be redefined
But my Grief has just begun
Words can’t describe how I miss you Son
Words can not describe how I feel about letting you down
How you must of felt when you realized I wasn’t around
The guilt I live with I must endure
For with this kind of grief there is no known cure
How I wish I could have you back
For now that you have left , my world has turned black
The longer you been gone the worst it gets
The longer the list grows in my mind of the regrets
Please forgive me my son , my first born
Know I love you and my heart and mind will always mourn
