The Familiar Face

We were standing there holding hand and dancing together. When someone walks up and pulls me away from the one I love. He was weird. But he had a reason to pull me away. He looked familiar. Like someone I once knew. Someone I once loved. He says nothing for a whole ten minutes. His eyes stared me up and down. Then he leans and whispers in my ear “ Remember me?” His voice was so familiar. But who was he? I pondered it in my. Come on. Think. Think. Think. Then I said “oh my god” I looked at him shocked “I thought you were dead”he said “no I’m alive.” It was my ex-boyfriend. I quickly jerked awayand went back to my boyfriend. It was like I had wire around my neck. Was this a dream? Would it go up in flames. I wish.
