A tapestry is woven, a legend told
Of magnificent feats, wondrous to behold.
Reserved for days, and nights so cold.
Deeds to relive, from times of old.
As threads shift along the loom,
The tale told of certain doom.
A beast is run through by the warrior's sword,
With courage and loyalty for his lord.
From far-off mountains and cold caverns
And drinks with comrades in strange taverns,
To feasts in palaces of gold,
Foreign kings in his honor hold.
Though now long gone, his fate finally sealed,
The legend of the warrior is revealed.
The wounds and scars endured in battle healed,
Leaving the riddle of his sword and shield.
