First Neveah Poem; a stream of consciousness poem I guess, I used to write these alot. :) |
With a loud cry, the whole earth shakes The war is just beginning now A raging fury, pouring out The sky is falling drop by drop The blackened sky is screaming pain Throwing her light across the sky For she is desperate for control To restrain her inner turmoil With bitter rage, tears hit the ground And with the rain I shed a tear, Because I know just what you feel Oh Nevaeh, who broke your heart? Who made your clear sky flood with gray? She answers only with harshest sounds; Drenching the ground with inner tears, A well unceasing; so fearfully compelled To erode the pain She’s seeking a solution to this anger, An end to this forbidden terror Bitter despair falls from her eyes Crashing down; falling through Oh how she must have fell for you… A stormy sky, so unforeseen Crashing through our life it seems, She keeps raging; and still I cry For all these feelings, so have I Reflecting her heart, is the blackest sky From within her soul her dreams they pour Hitting the ground faster; harder, Perhaps lamenting her naïve sunshine, No matter how you plead with her Nothing will quench the pain she feels, Not until all her tears are shed And the earth is drenched with sorrow Not until we gain; or lose From all she feels Such is her way Nevaeh. |
