Writing (Pen & Paper)

One wonders why I love to write
The answer is simple
The pen and the paper
They act as my safe harbor

They serve as a place
Where I can tell no lies, break no promises
What I write comes from the heart
And nothing more

The words flow easily
Most days, that is
For I bottle things up
Until I have the pen and the paper

The stories I weave
May indeed be fiction
Yet they always contain parts
Of my own life

Writing is like therapy
My feelings and emotions
Pour out on each and every page
And it’s also my savior

It saves me from loneliness
The despair, the thoughts…
Writing is my passion,
But it might as well be my life
