The Tide Is Turning

Rapidly rolling, then swirling and driving,
Reaching its peak with distinctive and passionate flavor -
Then, such force, a disseminating and driving display
That maintains its remarkable
And sturdy movement;
A changing tide proving quite a challenge
For the portentous, forward-thinking motion
Of these vicious waves,
Nature's atmospheric phenomena.

Then, clearly leaving space,
Into the sentience of mind's eye,
With latent focus blurring;
Cause and effect becoming unreal
And foggy -
Then, positive belief is reasserted,
At last;
And the tide genuinely and slowly turns.
