peaceful night

I went out for a walk cause i couldn't sleep
the moon was bright as it shrunk into the night
but it rays were shimmering on the lake and
right next to it were seven lights a slight golden
glimmering light.

As i looked up at the pitch black
sky the stars were shining bright so as i sat in my
favorite spot the lowest branches caught my eye
they were dancing side to side out by the rocks
it was just a small slow dance from side to side
such as two would do that were falling in love
listening to a soft and sweet melody.

These trees
have been so good to me with the heat so bad
they provided a nice fresh breeze. I hope i never
lose this spot.This is my spot to think and talk to
what ever animals come near me.
