A girl falls in love with a boy. he moves away. sappy love poetry.
How could I do this to myself?
I let you go, and let you down.
I tried so hard to keep my ground,
But I only wanted to be found.

Wasn't it plain to see?
By the compliments, and fluttering eyes
You aren't like those other guys.
Cause what I feel is butterflies.

I knew you had to move away.
I tried to back myself from you.
I knew this was the right thing to do.
Even if my crush was true...

The day you moved I couldn't speak.
I didn't even say goodbye.
I avoided you, and this was why:
I knew you were never worth my time.

So now it's done, and that was it.
I thought I'd never see you again.
Your long dark hair, your sheepish grin.
When your visit was made, I couldn't win.

I saw you, of course, and fell in love.
It can't be love, I'm still way young!
But I knew you weren't just "someone"
With you I can laugh, and just have fun.

Now is the time that you have to go back.
You left me here with no one by my side.
No one is like you, not any other guy.
And I know when I saw you, was not the last time.

So here I am waiting for you.
I will wait a million years, if thats all it takes.
Through everything, even past mistakes.
I'm sure that there will even be heart breaks.

There is probably a girl, just like me.
You will meet at Harvard university.
She has long hair, just like me.
But she won't be all that I could be.
