Chapter 1

May 14th

Hi there. I am your mom and I am eight months preganant. I can't wait to see what you look like. I have decided to write every day until yo are 18. And then on your 18th birthday I will give you everything I have written. All I know is that Jack, your dad, has bee telling me to do this ever since we found out. I don't know if I'm ruining the surprise here, but your father is doing one too. He is also going to give it to you on your eighteenth birthday. I can't wait to see what you do when you see the pages and pages of writing that takes you throught me and Jack's lives.

So I have decided to take you throught the day I told Jack. I thought that it would be good to just start from the very beginning.

It was October 14th the wind was cold and the heat in my apartment was turned all the way up. I am one of those people that hates being even a little bit cold.

So I had Jak come over for dinner and a movie. I had known for a few days and finaly figured out how to let him know.

I just acted like nothing was different. But then in the middle of the movie I told him that I had something for him and got up to get the box. When I st back down on the couch I gave the box to him, inside was the positive test.

Your dad just stared at it for a while until he hugged me. He wants you just as much as I do.
