whimsical ryhme
where do poems go at night?
through windows outright?
by jaunty flight under stars
to far reaches of Mars

roaming as they please
in heat or cool breeze
my, how they love to play
on wings of blue jay

to the ocean boffo
down deepest grotto
for a tumbler of tea
they invite you and me

a soothing brew
before morning dew
glimmer, wandering light
the pain, now quiet
