I have always believed things happen for a reason
This includes people in your life
You may not have a charming family
However, they will shape you into who you ought to be
I am grateful for the people I come into contact with
Especially if they are a huge influence
Time of events, chances are if She didn’t come into my life
I wouldn’t think the way I do now
I wouldn’t have changed who I was
Before Her, I didn’t trust anyone
I thought everyone was the same
I loathed who I was and felt trapped inside
Then, that beautiful girl entered my world
She was different, she was trustworthy
She was intelligent, she was wise

She made me realize how important people are
She showed me what was right, and what was wrong
She made me realize the good inside of me
I loved who she was, and liked myself around her
She gave me the confidence I never knew
She showed me what trust truly was, and how it felt
She never gave up on me; she was the one person whom was always there
I had never knew a person like this before her
And if she never were in my life
I wouldn’t have known the things I do now
I wouldn’t have found a quality inside myself that I liked
I wouldn’t have realized that the earths, people, are precious
I wouldn’t have realized how good it feels to trust someone
I would just be angry all the time, selfish and ignorant
I would be depressed beyond belief, looking inside instead of out
I wouldn’t know the contents of a human being can be both beautiful and fulfilling
And I’m still learning

But damn, I don’t want to go back. And I don’t have to. I’m glad she showed up in my life
Showing me the things nobody else taught me
Because of the environment I was put inside
It doesn’t matter what environment I was put in as a child
She is the environment I needed in the first place
The friend that catches you before you drown
That person that changes your life forever
For the better
So, look around
One “hello” can change your world
Just like she changed mine.
