It’s a real shame that our world’s collided like a god damn freight train and a tanker

All this time I was happily plodding through my life at a friggin depressing and demoralizing pace until her heart stopped and I lost my anchor

Long before I ever met you I was living in a constant melancholy state of mind

Thinking of how best to leave this world far far behind

We had our share of fun and excitement along with heartache and pain

I didn’t think you would be the one to plunge that knife and cause my eternal stain

Some men will never be the same and some things just simply can’t change

Knowing this is half the battle that is fought each and every day for the suckers that believe in the American dream and all the bullshit of home home on the range

Somehow people think I’m just putting on a show

I’m hanging on the edge but I’m standing on flat ground

Maybe somewhere in this message my true calling will be found

I love to write and make people think about things in their own lives that need to be addressed with the ones that love them before off to the nut house they are carted
