DOG ON BEACH

GOLDEN BEACH

THE LAST TIME WE WALKED ON THE BEACH
IT WAS GOLDEN LIKE THIS.

EVERY THING WILL BE FINE YOU SAID
YOUR HAND IN MINE IN THE FADING LIGHT.

BE BRAVE, MY DARLING, YOU WHISPERED
BEFORE THE LAST WAVE BROKE ON THE SHORE.

NOW, IT''S JUST ME AND BRUTUS ON THIS GOLDEN BEACH
BUT IT DOESN'T SHINE SO MUCH ANYMORE.
