Music is the shark of the earth

Its sound pierces within,

with razors for teeth

It moves and flows, with grace it swims

But attacks so fierce

Yet haunting its mien

Living and breathing it changes its mood

Under your skin it creeps and impugns

Each note takes a bite,

Causes thoughts to disperse

In the abyss of your heart it lurks.

It leaves you breathless

Never inure

It takes you captive

Your cares it opresses

It takes you away when least expected.
