i am death i am waiting for you
I stand at the edge of the abyss waiting for you to take my hand
I can see all of creation from here and yet I see nothing at all
I look back at what once was and know where all the pit falls were
But can do nothing about them
For time will not allowed a rewind
Time will forever hold us in its grip
Allowing us only a small glimpse into what is yet to be
But never will it revel the pain that, that glimpse is hiding
The more you think you’re in control the faster you will come to the edge of the abyss
To stand at my side
I once believed that time was on my side
that I had the world in the palm of my hands
What a fool I was
Now I stand here looking out at all of creation knowing I can never be a part of it
Knowing in my soul that I throw it all away
Now I’m here
waiting for you to come to me
for now I am the one that will guide you
across the vale
I am now death, waiting for you
can you can see me
I’m waiting for you to take my hand as we set sail for the other side
for once you reach me there is no turning back
life is lost to you as its lost to me
for I too gave up long ago
now I stand here at the door of time
on the edge of the abyss
where tomorrow starts knowing I can never walk back into life
I gave it up
Out fear out of anger
Out of time
now I wait for you
so come
who will be next to reach my side
who’s soul will be revealed
where will I take you
will you rest in peas or in
the pains of
HELL
Come take my hand
I stand here waiting for you
Shh you cannot hide from me
I am the end of life
