.Land of the more free than others
Home of the brave enough to hate because of color
We all have opinion
Yet few offer solutions
Only add further to the waste land of political pollution
Technological advancement is priority
Stead seeing to the advancement of our poverty consumed majority or giving hope to the minority
Fact is we're not the same
Nor are the circumstances by which we came
Stead trying to make things better we would rather place a blame
Laws aren't applied the same to those with money and or fame
You know, so called house hold names
A damn shame when one feels a black man should be tamed or trained instead taught
When ones don't know and others won't show, then who's to fault
When facilities of higher education are harder to enter than federal vaults
When neighborhood watch men take the life of a neighbor
It takes an act of congress to bring justified favor
The police who are to protect and serve only aggress and disturb
By the hands of the law we have blood staining our curbs
God help us all
No man deserves to be judged on earth
Your honor handing out life as if his extra schooling made him Lord
Objection
A system flawed behind bars is no correction
Who are you to impose lethal injection
Looks like a zoo for human beings to me
In hands soaked in blood are the powers that be
In God we trust but in this land not even God is free
Everything has limitation
Probation is only a form of taxation without the slightest representation
A felon has no right to protect his wife or his kids
The system says you're not forgiven for the things that you did, after the time that you did
You then serve time in society
Sentenced to live out life without quality or equality
I wish you didn't follow me through stores cause my skin's darker than yours
Is drug dealing much worst than having accounts off shore
In my eyes that's treason
No matter what you believe in
Government is in fact only a business of people pleasing
Only pleasing one another without the common man in mind
America the beautiful
Most truly the land of the blind
