In honour of Shakespeare--Englands National Poet
If Shakespeare were alive today,
He’d take up pen to paper;
He’d write a sonnet or a play
About this technological warfare;

If Shakespeare were to rise from the grave,
He’d be surprised at his own legacy;
To see the town where he was born all rave
As his plays come alive with vibrancy.

“All the World’s a Stage...” Quotes Shakespeare,
“And man in his lifetime plays many parts.” It’s true;
Shakespeare will laugh at his own lines and hear
An actor’s line in Taming of the Shrew.

The World hasn’t yet forgotten Shakespeare
All these years the world still craves an Encore.
