No longer practicing Witchcraft a new mother is haunted by her past.
Word Count 1985

Long ago when I was young and foolish, I dabbled in witchcraft. Between the age of 19 and 22 I lost my way. Since God was not giving me what I wanted, I decided to go and try out some Witchcraft. We have a history of witches in our family. I figured I could become powerful this way and get what I wanted. I was not into the dark stuff, just small curses on people that had made me angry or had stolen from me.

During my dark years I gathered several books on Witchcraft. How to cast spells and all the spooky stuff that goes along with that type of interest.
An Aunt of mine had also dabbled in the occults and became possessed. My “Great Aunt Lala used her authority "In the name of Jesus!" cast out the demons possessing her niece. So I knew from family stories that demons were real. I also knew that Jesus Christ had absolute power over them.
If you are not a Christian or you have not witnessed such things, I know this sounds crazy, but it is all true.

Together my boyfriend and I were working very hard to make a go of things. We moved around plenty and I had not used my Witchcraft books for close to a year finding that they were doing me no good.

At age 22 I became pregnant by my boyfriend; I was so busy with being pregnant and getting married that I forgot I had the books.
They were packed away in a box somewhere out in our shed. Buried and forgotten.

As the new life grew inside of me, I looked back to the highest power (God) to protect my baby.
I prayed the sinner’s prayer again. In tears I asked God to forgive me for practicing Witchcraft and all the rotten things that I had done. Peace, hope and joy were back in my life because of faith. I was overjoyed at my salvation and my walk with the Lord. Our future looked bright.
I started talking to my Great Aunt Lala on the phone, often for 3 or 4 hours at a time. She loved the Lord, and knew her bible inside and out. I read my bible from Genesis to Revelations. My relationship with the Lord had grown greatly during those six months in our little trailer. I was on fire for the word and desperate to make my life right for the sake of our unborn child.

On Sept 23 we became the happy parents of a beautiful baby boy. We brought our baby home to our 23ft travel trailer located in a Mobile home park. The day our son was born was the day my husband got a new job. His new hours were long and I would be home all alone for most of the day and evening, just me and my first born child. We settled in and things were going smoothly.

But that is when IT happened.

I had just nursed my baby, and laid him next to me on the bed in our tiny RV home. To my left was the front door and next to that was the closet. This consisted mostly of my husband’s wardrobe for his new job. For now my clothes were in a box under the bed next to the baby clothes and diaper bag.

I Lay down and started to drift off to sleep. That's when I heard a scratching type noise. It came from the closet. I sat up sleepily and opened my eyes to have a look. Then something horrible and dark attacked me! It was invisible, heavy and paralyzing. I fell back into my bed, I could not move. I was not asleep, it was not a dream. Whatever had me, felt like it was trying to crawl into me. To possess me, this terrified me. I knew from that moment I was under attack from a demon.
I could not move, I could barely breathe, I could hardly think of what to do. Then I remembered what my Aunt Lala taught me,
"When demons attack you, Cast them out in the name of Jesus!"

"I must cast it out," I tried to think; this dark thing was squeezing me with despair. I tried to think of how I was supposed to do this, the demon squeezed me harder. I could not breath or move, my mind seemed to be shutting down to darkness, the darkness was terrifying, not like closing your eyes dark, but Pitch Black Dark.

I was losing consciousness, the light in my mind got smaller and smaller becoming a pinhole of light.
I got very tired and started to give up to the dark possessing force. Then I found COURAGE! I could only whisper but I knew what I had to do.
"I cast you out in the name of Jesus Christ." I sounded like a very old woman who needed a drink of water. I got squeezed tightly by the darkness. “I cast you out in the name of Jesus Christ." It was only a whisper that came out; I got squeezed again but not as hard. I took a bigger breath and tried to find my voice.
It was working; the power of the name of Jesus was working! And I wanted to shout this demon clean out of the universe! Still, my voice was only a whisper, but louder and more determined.
"I cast you out in the name of Jesus Christ!"
The dark weight started letting loose of me then light started to come back to my mind. I could take deeper breaths, with each breath I took in, I breathed out, “I cast you out in the Name of Jesus Christ!" The light come flooding back into my mind and I found myself sitting straight up in bed shouting from the top of my lungs "I cast you out in the Name of Jesus Christ!" shaking my fists at the Devil as I battled him in the name of Jesus!
Of course this woke up the baby; I was overjoyed to hear him crying. I grabbed him up and Praised God over and over. My baby cried in my ear and I just cried and glorified God almighty.

I called my Aunt Lala immediately and told her all that had happened. She agreed that I was under attack, and something in the house was attracting demons to me. She asked me to think hard about anything I might have in the house or on the property that would invite them.
That’s when I remembered the Witchcraft books.
She told me that I had to find them and burn them all. I found one box of them and burned them up on the BQ grill, and then I blessed the house. I had taken care of the problem; or so I thought.

A few months later we moved into a bigger mobile home. It was sure nice to be out of our tiny trailer. After our tiny RV, the bigger mobile home seemed like a castle.

I lay in my new bedroom with my baby on our now queen sized bed. I had just nursed him and laid him down to my left. My husband's closet was also to the left of us, full of his dry clean only clothes; the new job was working out well.
The baby fell asleep and I lay back down to take a nap. Then I heard a funny scratching noise, it seemed to come from somewhere in the room. I was tired and cracked an eye open to look around.
I heard a baby cry, I looked over to my baby, but he was sound asleep. I heard the crying sound again, this time I knew where it came from.

The sound came from the CLOSET.

As soon as my mind comprehended this, I was immediately attacked by the same dark force that had tried to get me before.
I fell back onto the bed and was not able to move, the blackness was quickly taking me over, and the light in my head was starting to go out as I was being consumed by the dark force.
I was more prepared this time, but I had to battle hard to get my mind to work. My lips would not move and I could barely manage in a hoarse whisper, "In the Name of Jesus Christ I cast you OUT!"

I could hardly breathe. I could not see, everything was going black; I managed again a hoarse whisper,
"In the Name of Jesus Christ I cast you OUT!" the dark force loosened on me.
I took a gasping deep breath, I could not move my body but I could move my mouth, I found my voice louder this time.
"In the Name of Jesus Christ I cast you OUT! I cast you out in the name of Jesus Christ!"
The dark force had to let me go, I could tell that it could not stand the name of Jesus!
The room became very bright and I found myself sitting bolt upright in bed shouting "I cast you out in the name of Jesus Christ!" and yes this woke up the baby to.

I scooped up my baby and ran from the bedroom, fearing what might come after me and my baby next. I called my Aunt Lala and told her what had happened again.

"Honey you have still got something in your house or on your property that is attracting demons, are you sure you burned all of those books?"

Next, I called my husband at work and told him what happened to me. He thought I was insane at first, but then he said, "Wait, I did see another small box of your old witch books, I put them out in the shed, and they are in small box next to the door."
My blood seemed to run cold for a moment. I was suddenly terrified to go near the shed. But I had to face fear and truly accept the protection of Jesus. At that moment I understood how powerful God really is. I did not have to fear those books or the demons they attracted. A feeling of pure joy came over me and I was strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
I went to the shed and found the box my husband had spoken of, that was the last of my books.
One of the books was full of spells, spells to cause death, and spells to summon spirits.
It was a bad book and I was sure IT was likely the cause of all the unwanted activity in my home.

I burned those books on the BQ grill with lots of lighter fluid. I asked God, once again to forgive me for dabbling in witchcraft and I promised never to do it again. When it was all burned, I scooped out the ashes and threw them in the dumpster.
Next, I did a full blessing “In the name of Jesus" on our home and every square inch of our lot.

I have not been attacked like that since. I keep my heart full of Jesus Christ so this Demon will never come back and find an empty house for him to move into with 7 more of his friends. {Matt 12:43-45} This has kept me reading the bible for sure.
I have grown as a Christian and have had a few more supernatural experiences’ involving demons and evil spirits.
But now when I must do battle; I wear the Full Armor of the Lord. I love the Shield of Faith, with which I can withstand all the fiery darts of the enemy.

That is the end of my true story and I will never forget it.
God Bless.
