Give in to temptation and gluttony as you enter the Baker's stop ("The Raven" Inspired)
The Baker (Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven”)

I made a few changes/edits

Once upon a hunger hanker; I stumbled by a local baker
Smell of fresh baked goods wafted by; smelling like sweet apple pie
Aroma is there, inhale those fumes; sweet seductive sugar perfume
Checked my wallet money is tight; guess just one to quench my delight
Charming Baker "the price ignore"

Was he serious, is this for free; I think he is, I'm so full of glee
But on a diet, should cut back; but there's just something about this shack
Licked my lips over all these sweets; mind the diet, time for a treat
Room full of devilish snacks; one by one I pound them back
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

With his offer who could refuse; this giant deal I shall abuse
Stuff my mouth full of goods; after this will be a hunger snooze
One more bite I shall devour; savouring all these treats of flour
Add fatty cream icing spread; could that be Banana bread?
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

Deep fried cake, the Devil’s food; arteries clogging not so good.
Add powdered sugar, who could resist; tug my arm, give it a twist
With my stomach about to blow; grinning baker has more to show
In the back hidden from the rest; glorious baked goods at his best.
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

Belly full please no more; hunger hurts getting sore
Chocolate cupcakes come in four; don’t know if there’s room for more
In my hand it quickly went; down the belly soon I sent
Rumbling meaning no more down; then I hear that friendly sound
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

Brain is thinking “Just leave this place; our belly just don’t have the space”
Temptations too high, getting grim; but I know I've reach the brim
Drop to the floor, dying soon; heart is racing to the moon
One more bite couldn’t hurt; grab that sauce one more squirt
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

Can’t give in but no more room; sweep me away, grab that broom
Taste buds crave savoury dessert; belly’s exploding, it’s going to hurt
Paramedics arrive to shock my heart; I frantically reach for one last tart
My life they race to save; I feel as though I've become a slave
Grinning Baker quotes “Have some more”

Heart stops beating problems here; paramedics yell “Stay back, clear!”
Pulse starts again they did their job; resurrecting this poor pathetic slob
Ice-glazed donuts are within reach; now my mouth won’t let me breach
I see the point did almost die; fight the urge... Oh is that pie?
Quote the Baker “Have some more”

Up in heaven with a sugar rush; eating all I see, woot no more fuss
Just my luck, gluttony's a sin; so now in Hell, there goes my grin
Not all that bad still lots of snacks; but right beside the torture racks
Lifetime of suffering eating all I see; Satan says my soul's the fee
So I nod and say “I'll have some more”
