She fell for a silver set.
When Judy saw the silver set
the room arrived with ooh and ah;
performing like her throat was wet,
much like a crow committing caw.

Her eyes enlarged such that they swam
and scoops of white set in the spoon;
such lustrous love, a set program,
a midnight waltzing right at noon.

Silver, silver, tarnish to be,
she two-stepped yet her knees were weak;
upon her heart set silvery,
batting eyelash with fine technique.

Oh I do not indict you so
for elemental wanderlust;
the tine is sharp, and it will go
through turkey breast and pizza crust.

I saw her wrap her arms around
the plush red case where silver laid;
for fork and knife, true love was found,
one heart afloat, love on parade.

She left her heart upon the plate,
but silver set gave it new vim;
when souls connect, we think it’s great,
as avid eyes go for a swim.

Oh give to thee both great and small,
a silver set for thy heart, dear;
for from the tower love can call,
or gallop hard like Paul Revere.

She fell in love with silver sight,
and silver felt her minding touch;
but most desire fled, all right,
once love was hidden in the hutch.
