the mind patiently waits
waits for a chance, an opportunity.
An opportunity to strike
the match of creativity.

The mind reacts
it snaps, twists and turns
creating an image
a story with portraits
of the infinite expanse.

The pen is grasped
the time to tame
these foreign lands
from the mind's core
is upon the writer.

The mind reacts
it erases, renders blank
the beauty of worlds beyond
and with this deletion
the pen is dropped.
