When Music Turns to Noise


On this starless night

not even music eases my sorrow

and that thought makes me scared

So i shall sit until the morrow

with a mind impaired

Usually the songs, solace brings

and helps to pass the time

but now my ears the music stings

in retched cacophonous rhyme

Is my problem so deranged

that the only cure is of a bang

a bottle to wash away the pain

or a knife to let it drain?

But that's not me, assuredly

but who am i to say

i've been labeled time and time again

so perhaps i am astray

but if someone dared

and suddenly cared

maybe, just maybe

The music again, would ease the sorrow

And i wouldn't be so scared.
